Terms of use for clinics

Last updated: 1 October 2026

Draft under legal review. This text may still change; highlighted passages still need to be completed.

These terms govern the use of the PetiVeto clinic dashboard (app.petiveto.com) by veterinary clinics and their teams. They are concluded between the publisher of PetiVeto and the clinic on whose behalf the account is opened.

The French version of these terms is the reference version.

1. Publisher

PetiVeto is a service published by company name, legal form and share capital, with its registered office at registered office address, registered with the trade register of city under no. RC number, ICE no. ICE number. Contact: contact@petiveto.com.

2. Acceptance

The person who creates the clinic’s account accepts these terms on behalf of the clinic and declares that they are authorised to bind it. Acceptance is given electronically at sign-up, in accordance with Law 53-05. Each invited member also accepts these terms and the privacy policy when joining the team.

3. The service

The clinic dashboard lets you manage patients and their records, vaccines, the calendar, appointment requests received from the PetiVeto app, messaging with owners, stock and the team, and publish the clinic’s listing in the app directory.

Use of the clinic dashboard is not charged at present. Any paid offer would be subject to specific terms, presented and accepted separately; no amount will be charged without your prior agreement.

4. Registration and verification

  • The clinic dashboard is reserved for veterinary clinics and practices lawfully operating in Morocco and their teams.
  • The email address is verified with a code. Before appearing as a partner in the directory, the clinic is verified by our team, which may ask for supporting evidence, in particular the registration number with the Ordre national des vétérinaires.
  • Providing false information about professional status leads to the account being closed.

5. Team accounts

  • The clinic’s account holder invites team members, each with their own account. Credentials must not be shared.
  • The clinic is responsible for how its members use the service. It removes access for a member who leaves the clinic without delay.
  • Team members must only consult the records they need for their work.

6. Professional responsibility

  • PetiVeto is a management tool. It does not diagnose, does not prescribe and does not replace the judgement of the veterinarian, who remains solely responsible for medical acts, prescriptions and decisions.
  • The clinic remains bound by its legal and ethical obligations, in particular professional secrecy and record keeping. It checks the information it enters and what the tool calculates (reminders, stock alerts, health score) before relying on it.

7. Appointments and public listing

  • The clinic keeps its opening hours and availability up to date and answers appointment requests within a reasonable time. It freely sets its prices and terms; PetiVeto collects no payment on its behalf.
  • The clinic’s public listing (name, address, contact details, opening hours, photos) is visible to app users. The clinic guarantees that this information is accurate and that it holds the rights to the photos and logos published, which it allows us to display for as long as it is registered.
  • If your clinic’s listing appears in the directory from public sources, you can claim it, correct it or ask for its removal at contact@petiveto.com.

8. Personal data: who does what

For the data the clinic enters about its clients and their animals, the clinic is the data controller within the meaning of Law 09-08 and PetiVeto is its processor. It is up to the clinic to inform its clients, to have a lawful basis for processing their data and, where applicable, to complete its own formalities with the CNDP.

When an owner has an account in the PetiVeto app, the records the clinic enters for their animals, the appointments and the messages are visible to that owner in their app.

9. PetiVeto’s commitments as processor

  • Process the clinic’s data only to provide the service and on its instructions, and never sell it or use it for advertising. Only aggregated, anonymous statistics may be produced (for example, the number of clinics or animals followed).
  • Bind the people authorised to access it to confidentiality.
  • Implement the security measures required by article 23 of Law 09-08 and described in the privacy policy.
  • Only use the providers listed in the privacy policy, and inform the clinic of any change of provider.
  • Inform the clinic as soon as possible of any data breach affecting it, and help it answer requests from its clients and from the CNDP.
  • At the end of the contract, give the clinic a copy of its data on request, then delete it within 90 days.

10. Confidentiality

Each party keeps confidential the non-public information of the other that it learns through the service, for as long as the service is used and for 5 years afterwards.

11. Availability

PetiVeto has a best-efforts obligation: we do our best to keep the service available at all times and to preserve the integrity of data, but cannot guarantee that there will be no interruptions. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.

12. Liability

PetiVeto is only liable for direct damage resulting from a proven breach of its obligations. PetiVeto is not liable for indirect damage, such as loss of revenue, clients or reputation, nor for the consequences of medical decisions, of information entered by the clinic, or of force majeure.

These limitations do not apply in the event of fraud or gross negligence, in accordance with article 232 of the Dahir of Obligations and Contracts.

13. Intellectual property

PetiVeto remains the owner of its brands, software and content. The clinic has a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for as long as it is registered. The clinic remains the owner of its data and content.

14. Term, suspension and termination

  • These terms apply for an indefinite period from sign-up.
  • The clinic can close its account at any time by writing to contact@petiveto.com.
  • In the event of a breach, PetiVeto may suspend the account 15 days after a formal notice that has gone unanswered, or immediately in the event of a serious breach (false professional status, fraud, access to another clinic’s data, security attacks).
  • At the end, data is returned on request and then deleted as set out in section 9.

15. Changes to these terms

Any significant change is announced by email to the account holder at least 30 days before it takes effect. A clinic that refuses it can close its account before that date; continuing to use the service afterwards means it accepts it.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Moroccan law. The parties first seek an amicable solution for 30 days from the written complaint. Failing that, the dispute is brought before the commercial court of city of the registered office.
